When we first opened our dream restaurant in March of 2000, our primary goal was to recreate “Made in Italy flavors” at a high standard of culinary and service excellence, while offering great value to the local community. Now over 10 years later, it is safe to say that we've succeeded. At Il Michelangelo's Restaurant we confidently offer the finest Italian foods to the savviest of Italian food enthusiasts.
Located in an elegantly restored house that was once the site of a Stagecoach Inn, Il Michelangelo Restaurant has brought a touch of Italian grace and charm to Boonton Township in Morris County and enjoyed a success and patronage that is beyond our wildest dreams. This is evident by the ever-returning clientele who have made Il Michelangelo Italian Restaurant their favorite place to dine. Sicilian-born owner Dominic Cascio is a master restaurateur who co-founded Aldo’s Italian Restaurant in Wyckoff and Rockaway. In the past he managed both the exquisite tower suites at the Hemsley Palace Hotel and the exclusive men’s clothing store Brioni in New York City. He has combined his culinary expertise and gift for extra-ordinary hospitality to create a fine dining experience in an informal, casual, and contemporary setting. During the warmer months at iL Michelangelo, al fresco dining is available on our spacious porch. Inside you will dine in the company of oversized reproductions of the immortal paintings of our restaurant's namesake. Our menu is as affordable as it is appealing, with a large selection of expertly crafted regional Italian specialties, all absolutely authentic and recreated by Dominic’s son, Executive chef Dominic Cascio Jr. As the name suggests, Il Michelangelo's Italian Restaurant is truly a work of art , an establishment where a fine dining experience is a certainty.
The entire Cascio family invites you to come to Il Michelangelo Restaurant and experience for yourself that our motto “ Eat well, Live Well” holds true.
When you come in please say hello to owner, Dominic, he would love to meet you!
